Hyderabad, capital of the province of Telengana, is located in south central India. It is in the middle of the Deccan Plateau. The Deccan Plateau has a very special landscape of rock formations. These rocks, estimated to be 2.5 billion years old, are both the oldest and the hardest rock formations in the world.

The site locates in the Southeast part of Hyderabad, in between of the old city and new high-tech city. One of the iconic component on the site is the huge igneous rocks spread out the site and the whole Hyderabad. In this hilly site, the organization of the 18 houses tries to wave with the hilly and rocky landscape up and down to make the buildings respect both the land and also the rocks.
